Mental health and health have always been important to millions of each day, it is now more important than ever before to make sure you are taking the correct measures to ensuring you are taking care of your mental and physical health.

When the pandemic started a lot of people turned to buying pets to help them keep busy and entertained whilst being stuck at home during the lockdowns. A lot of people purchased dogs and cats but another pet that seen a huge increase was the hamster, with shops like pets at home running low or having no hamsters available at all to sell. Hamsters have been proven to be a great pet with them not requiring that much effort or training like for example let’s say a cat or a dog. With pets at home running low on hamsters a lot of people turned to a number of more options across the internet where the sales of hamsters grow a lot, especially across the Facebook market place with thousands of children wanting their own pet hamster after seeing how much fun their friends or other family members have had with them. Hamsters are a great pet as they mainly look after themselves you do not need to take them for walks or anything like that, if they have a wheel in their cage to exercise or letting them out now and again to have a run about is more than enough exercise for them.

During lockdown the sale of pets increased by huge numbers with animal breeders not being able to keep up with the demand of pets needed and wanted by millions of customers across the world and especially in the United Kingdom. Pets have been known to help a lot of people with mental health issues with them giving people something to love and to care for which has helped them to distract themselves from the day-to-day life and the same routine that they have been used to. Hamsters are now one of the most popular pets for people to look at getting with kids now preferring them to other similar pets, and you can see why with them being great pets once you have taken the time to get to know them and earn their trust. Hamsters are shy creatures at first but once they feel comfortable around you they have some amazing personalities.
