Hamster Story by Tessa

This happened a few years back with my old hammy.
I was visiting my Grandmother for the weekend, and when I came home I was delighted to hold my two teddy bear hamsters. But when I went into my room the
cage was empty...
I didn't think much of it, I just figured that they were taken out of their cages to have some petting, roll around in their ball. But when I went to ask where Cuddles and Snowball were, horror struck because they said they were...missing.
I cried for a bit before I asked if my dad and stepmom were looking and they were. But the problem was they weren't looking in the right places.
And the day we found them I was as happy as could be! Until I heard where they were... The wall. If you don't know what I mean then here ya' go: We think they climbed in the vent and made their way into the wall. That day my Dad cut a hole in the wall and used food until he saved them! And they were both still alive!
And so we put them back in their
cages and we made sure they never got lost again.
